This school is not to bad. but the work gets harder to fast and some kids need to learn harder things slower. They only give ten minute snacks but it feels more like five. They also need to give longer recesses because kids have lots of energy. This school is not terrible but its not great either. This school can be fun at times and most kids are really nice. They have a after school program to for parents that dont get out of work until a hour or so after school ends. This school has good things and bad things about it but if your kid ever attends this school id give them home lunch if i were you. And if you cant give them home lunch at least dont let your kid eat the nachos. sincerely- you dont need to know :)
They dont ever respond to questions for a long time but im guessing thats because there are so many kids asking for help from the teachers so it takes long for some kids to get a response. It challenging sometimes but the teachers try there best.
I began attending during a hard time which is COVID-19. Although we have went virtual during this time. I must say that all of the teachers and students are very supportive and motivational. I love my experience at Chamberlain and would recommend anyone interested in nursing to attend. My only concern is the cost to attend the school , they are a bit expensive.
Chamberlain University has a very supportive team within the community. Fast moving, expensive, motivational, and very healpful.
Had other experiences other places, but Chamberlain is different. They give the most up to date information and current hospital/nursing skills used in practice.
This school is terrible! They are all about the money and do not care about your success. The deans are hateful and should not be working in healthcare with the attitudes that they have. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME!!!!
Everyone at this school is super friendly. All of the professors are willing to help you when needed and will explain anything you need them to as many times as you need them to. The CAS is very helpful and all of the staff is very knowledgable.
So far my experience at Chamberlain has been wonderful. I cannot recommend this school enough. Not only are the professors extremely knowledgeable, they are helpful as well. The school has created a very comfortable learning environment.
I love Chamberlain the professors and staff truly care about you and want to see you succeed there. At Chamberlain, there are so many resources for the students. One of my favorite things at Chamberlain are the sims labs they are so cool how the mannequins can actually feel stuff and tell you what's wrong so it is like you are practicing on a real-life patient. Chamberlain gets you prepared to be a nurse. The campus is great there is just one thing I do not like and that it is the price it is super expensive but you get what youre paying for.
Everyone knows your name, and not only the students but administration too! They have high tech resources, and a great center for academic success which really helps when you are struggling. I love it!
Chamberlain online is very challenging and is for the very dedicated and highly self- motivated individual. Instructors do not lecture. Work has be done by the students. Any concept that is not grasped is lost as many instructors feedback simply state whether or not the grading rubric guidelines were met. One instructor's comment to a question that was asked was, "I cannot believe you are asking that at this stage?" No response to the question was given. It turns out it was just another term or name for something that was already know and being done. However the term was new as the previous instructors did not use that term.
This was one of the best educational experiences. The instructors were available and helpful throughout the educational experience. I loved being able to communicate with others throughout the country with a variety of experiences and clinical backgrounds. I would never had been able to learn as much in a conventional classroom setting.
The St.Louis campus does an amazing job helping you to become the best nurse possible. The professors have all worked as nurses or in the medical field and do a great job helping you on your path. I encourage anyone who is looking into joining a nursing program to look into chamberlain.
The only problem I had with one of my courses was that, I had a hard time understanding what the teacher wanted. I feel like I would fix what she would tell me to fix and then she would still find something wrong with it. Her instructions were also poor in quality but over all the class was organized well.
My job prospects are amazing. I have no doubt about getting a job after graduation. They is so much help at this campus to make sure you succeed.
The class sizes are small and very hands on with the professor. They seem to care a whole lot about if you succeed or not in the program. The one thing that made my mind up about this school when I was looking was that the advisor who gave me a tour of the campus knew every students name. This to me shows that they care and keep in touch with the student body.
My first class we had current nurses that came in to hand out their cards for us to use once we graduated. They always have career days to get your resume out there as well as to put you into contact with what ever avenue you decide in nursing.
