I have honestly been shocked by the level of education I have received from Cerritos. I went into my educational experience hearing really negative things about community colleges and even reading some things on various websites, I felt nervous! Honestly, the college far exceeded my expectations. My teachers have been beyond helpful and I have been intellectually challenged by them. There are also a lot of honors and priority registration opportunities.

Cerritos College is by far one of the best community colleges in Southern California. Not only are the professors amazing, but the programs there are fantastic! As a psychology major the opportunities are endless. There are a broad selection of classes to choose from, an active psychology club to partake in, and also outgoing professors who are there to help guide you in the correct direction every step of the way.
My overall experience at Cerritos College was great! I enjoyed my years there and I appreciated all the helpful resources Cerritos had to offer. Once I discovered my major and got to know the professors in my field things became a lot more clear. Professors and counselors helped make sure I was on the right track to complete my associates degree to transfer and offered assistance. The campus is under construction but still taken care of and the diversity in students is great!
