Well, I have yet to attend but from what i've seen it's not so bad and an affordable option for those who want to save money.
I love this school, and I like the availability of classes they have available online. I am out of state, about an hour minimum drive to the campus which I would not be able to do multiple days a week for school. The only thing I don't like is that I have to pay out of state tuition for a community college which adds up to about the same tuition as a university. Other than that it's a great school and I've only had positive experiences with it so far.
Good choice if you are looking for a transfer school that can work to your needs, preferences, and schedule.
The professors were very helpful and supportive, even though our classes were online. It has saved me a lot of money on some classes, and the transferrable credits will help me very much when going to UNCC this fall! I'm thankful for all of my professors and my fellow classmates that I've had for the two semesters through Dual Enrollment, and I have recommended all of my friends at least try one semester of Dual Enrollment to help with their credits.
I had a wonderful time at Central Piedmont. Their advisors put me on a better path in my educational career. I’ve been enrolled for only a year but everyone has been so helpful in trying to get me where I need to be and it has been my best experience with a college.
I love the online cpcc clas I'm taking. The teacher is amazing everything is easy to navigate and I feel like I am achieving everything clas is sought out to be.
This is a great opportunity to get get things done if you have a rather hectic life like mine. Nine times out of ten the instructions that you will receive are crystal clear and if you have any confusion at all you may simply email your teachers with any questions you may have. They will be happy to help you. I can say that most professors are very honest and nice people. If you have a problem with accessing, working on, or turning in your work then they will do their best to help you work through it.
Great college with knowledgeable professors. Since enrolling at CPCC in the spring, I have never had an issue reaching out to the appropriate faculty for assistance.
I had a great experience online school. Teachers were understanding of certain circumstances. Often got quick responses.
One of the aspects that I like about Central Piedmont Community College is the great variety of courses and pathways that one can pursue there. This is since there are many options, and so, most people can find at an affordable price, what best accommodates to their likings.
Central Piedmont Community College is a great school. From their always helpful quick-response-time faculty, to their incredibly user-friendly website. Really though, I can't stress it enough how nice it is to go to a school that doesn't have an ancient website that gives you a headache every time you log in. I've checked out several other community college websites, and CPCC's is the best.
I loved taking classes a CPCC as a dual-enrolled student. Taking college level courses in addition to my high school classes has prepared me to be successful being a full time college student. The professors are very friendly and understanding. When COVID-19 hit, was when I first started taking classes. They made the online teaching enjoyable and kept everything interesting and allowed me to be successful. I was not involved on anything on campus, since being a dual enrolled student but I received emails and they make sure you are in the know about everything. If you are thinking about doing dual enrollment this is your sign. Get a few college credits out of the way so you can sleep in on a Tuesday or go out on a Friday at your 4 year!
I took 3 classes online last semester and 3 this semester. I went on campus twice for a biology lab in the midst of COVID. The professors seemed prepared and ready to be online and I never had any trouble seeing information whether it was posted as an announcement, email or assignment. The teachers used Blackboard well, and taught us at the beginning of the semester how to navigate with it. I think online was hard for me at first, but now with my classes this semester I am finding no trouble because I got used to the online classes last semester.
