I love how the advisors and instructions guide you through the college process. As a first generation student I didn't know what to expect and this school was beyond helpful!
The communication from day one was phenomenal and well past what we expected. Once we arrived for our scheduled visit we was greeted with a personal parking space with an employee waiting our arrival. The young lady giving the tour was like a walking text book of knowledge and the visit with the staff was a breath of fresh air , our last visit was with the Softball coaching staff and we knew on the walk back to the car this is where we will be attending for the next 4 years of extended education as they didn't go out of their way to make it feel like home it just came natural to make you feel at home.
I am a freshman at CMU, even tho I have not take classes yet, their communication with their students it awesome, and the application and acceptance process was pretty easy.
I really enjoyed my first year at CMU, when I first got there I did not know what to expect since it was my very first year, but things definitely changed quickly, I met a lot of amazing people and built strong friendships that will last outside of school, the professors are great, they do everything in their power to make sure you stay on track but it is up to you to do a good job as well so you can make their jobs easier. The cafe workers are amazing they do an amazing job in feeding us and making sure we eat. The athletics there is also really good, each team won conference championships, and each team supports one another really well. I definitely enjoyed my first year to the fullest and can’t wait to see what the second one has in store for me.
I’ve been at CMU for the past two years going into my third, and I haven’t found many reasons for a student not to go there. The athletes at this school are an amazing group of people who work very hard and create a great environment to push yourself to your best ability. Other than that I would say that the cafeteria food is practically prison food but worse as it’s boring, bland, and half the time not cooked properly, or nutritional for that matter.
I have loved my experience with this school. All of the instructors have been exceedingly welcoming and I feel as though I am truly receiving a quality education. I had not previously enjoyed taking online courses, but this school was greatly helpful in allowing me to see the benefits of online schooling. Although we do not see each other in person, I feel connected with my classmates and there is a strong community in that we want to help each other succeed. My instructors are more than willing to help me so that I am able to succeed and learn the information that will be important in my career. I have had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this school to anyone seeking a strong community in their school.
I have really appreciated my time at Central Methodist University. The course work has been really well rounded. The professor's and advisor's care deeply for the educational goals of their students. With flexible options, I have been able to take classes with ease, as well as work full time and raise a beautiful family. I would highly encourage any working student to look into the undergraduate program at this University.
In my four years at Central Methodist University I made great friend and learned many thing in and out of the classroom. The university is small and family like atmosphere. Professors are very personable and communicate well. In the athletic world of the university my experience wasn’t the best. Although I had a decent team (competitive cheerleading ) we were not treated as the other teams were treated although we were always in the top 14 in the nation since I have attended the university.
Central has moved to digital U before the pandemic and it was a great idea. It is very helpful for class if you not able to attend. This also helps electronic skills for students and staff.
I liked the campus. I also like the professors. I like the coaches and the environment of the college. I also like the small town country community it is in.
I went to CMU (Central Methodist University) because it is a bit cheaper than SEMO college and the college website is a bit easier to maneuver through than SEMO as well. I cannot tell you about the campus as I am an online student because of convenience and financial reasons.
My experience at CMU so far has been extremely positive. I have enjoyed my classes much more than I expected mostly because I have had incredible professors.
Central Methodist staff cares about their students, They are willing to help in any way possible. The academic advising department is really helpful and always do what is in the best interest of the student.

I have not yet attended this school but I’ve had a lot of questions on the way of this process of applying to the school and every question that I have asked has been answered and people are very helpful to what I have seen so far and I am happy to give my school a great rating plus in Missouri we have had a lot of flooding and the college opened the dorms up for the flooding victims! How wonderful is that!
The student life here at Central is awesome. Everyone is nice and it is a very tight nit community in Fayette. All of my professors I have had have been awesome.
The online RN-BSN program was an appropriate amount of work for a working professional nurse. The program did not require additional clinical hours if students are working in the nursing field. Instructors are responsive to students, even in an online setting. Even though it is a private school, it is one of the most affordable RN-BSN programs around!
I appreciate the friendliness of the staff at Central Methodist University. When I enrolled, I had a lot of questions and my advisor has been wonderful! The classes are convenient and easy to work into my already busy schedule.
