Currently, some of my classes are online. The professors have stated that they're new to it but they understand alot of mechanics with their current applications being Zoom and Microsoft teams. They aren't your ordinary professor who can't mute that one annoying microphone or doesn't know how to share screens. These professors at Centenary College know how the functionality of the software works and they make it a very minimal-distraction zone as opposed to other schools that their professors don't know how to maximize software functionality.
We also do groupwork during class ONLINE! This is insane but the professors managed to create tiny groups for students for when we have group-based discussions in class just like in a in-person lecture/classroom.
Professors may give some work leeway to students because they understand that not everyone's internet might be the best and not everyone knows how to use the programs. But, the college offers assistance to help you out too.

My first year attending this college has been quite the unique experience. I found myself enjoying waking up every weekday in my dorm room and getting ready for the classes, which offer me wonderful knowledge for my major in Equine Studies. I feel like I belong here, which isn't something I can usually say! I hope to enjoy the next 3 school years here!
Centenary College in New Jersey has been excellent to me so far. The professors are nice and are quick to respond to any questions you may have, the classrooms are small to have more interaction between other students and professors, and their support team is amazing as well! The support team are always quick to respond and can help you with any issue and it doesn't take long for them fix your problem.
As for the coursework, Centenary teaches you work that will be applicable for when you get a job! For instance, I'm an Education - Social Studies major so my Major's courses consist of EDU classes. And what they've thought me in my first year of transferring is what makes a good teacher, lesson planning, and mentoring younger students to gain some teaching experience as well. These are all I can list from the top of my head since I've just started this college but everything has been great.
The campus looks amazing too! You have to check it out for yourself.
