Carrington college’s radiology program did not prepare me for the real world of X-ray. My physics instructor (who is no longer with Carrington) was the saving grace of this program. He was very knowledgeable and had a passion for teaching. Other than that I have nothing good to say. By the time I was sent to clinical I had to re learn everything about X-ray positioning.
It’s a little bit unorganized when it comes to finances and It’d be much better if they had more programs to offer.
Aside from the occasional technical issues, online learning has been smooth and very flexible. The powerpoints and online resources used are good, and they aid my learning quite well.
Carrington College has a good curriculum and excellent teachers. The financial aid office is subpar, but with patience and determination, you can reach someone.
The school at that start of COVID let one of the main instructors go, then once allowed back on campus the Radiology students were the last to be allowed back and that was only for two hours a week for lab while other programs were allowed back all day!
The instructors really enjoyed teaching and care about the students and want them to succeed.

Their staff is always willing to step up to the plate to any difficult task you can throw at them. Medical assisting crew was always willing to find a way. I needed help with my FAFSA along with a few other things. Some even called me way after school hours or on the weekends. They totally understand about school and work in my life. The ladies where always cheerful and wanted to know more about my self verse me being just a number.
It was mostly online through a networking board called canvas. With tuition came a brand new I pad, 7th Gen. I was very happy.
The online learning isn't so bad, agian just wished they and the on campus in structure had more communication
School dosent seem to know what they are doing, and instructors are leaving left and right. They seem to hold no regard for the students while pretending they do. I do not recommend,to other.
I just finished my 1st term with Carrington College and I love everything about it! I have nothing negative to say about it, I love my professor and all my fellow classmates and am enjoying me studies.
an upgrade in equipment and teaching certain processes that no longer take place such as developing film for x-rays. i am apart of the dental assisting program and skipped my sr. year of high school to do so. for me it is very finically hard but so far manageable.
I love that they don't pressure you into something that your not interested in. They are very forthcoming about the aspects of their college and what is expected of you. Highly Recommend them to anyone who is looking at going into the medical field.
The instructors and staff are always there to help you. Everyone has the goal of helping you to better your life and are willing to help tutor and re-explain points that may be confusing you. I would recommend this school in a heartbeat to anybody looking for a medical based job.
I enjoy the hands on learning while being in a small classroom environment.
Depending on how long your course you should treat it like a full time job. Monday-Friday 8-10hrs a day split between lecture, hands on training, and study time.
A majority of your books will be found online
The staff is very helpful in helping you find a job even after your six month graduation
