Its not a bad school, I just wish there was more to do around the school. As a freshman athlete that's partly extroverted i would like more activities that could engage more people to come out their dorm so we could make more friends and stuff like that but besides that its not too bad.
They are fraud.I recommend you please don't admit in this university specially foreign student. They will terminate your i20 anytime without any reason. They just don't care about your effort and money.
I like everything about Carolina Uni but the application process is a little confusing. I've had to apply twice and I still haven't heard nothing back.
I was a transfer student to Carolina University and as soon as I stepped on campus I felt at home. It's a small campus that allows students the opportunity to grow close relationships with fellow students, professors, and faculty quickly. Employees of the university truly want the best for the students and are always willing to help or just be a friendly face. The school is mostly known for their athletics program where they offer a variety of varsity sports. As a member of the women's volleyball team, I have had such a positive experience as a student athlete where I am supported by not only my teammates but so many other student athletes that share the same successes and struggles as me. Carolina University's President, Dr. Charles Pettit, has also grown close relationships with various international schools that has allowed many international students to study abroad here in America. It shows the schools diversity and gives student the opportunity to learn about various cultures.
Smaller school with easy to find classes and you also have the choice to do online and in person. Sports are great there. Baseball team just won regionals and softball went to second round region playoffs. Basketball team and volley ball teams are great too.
Class size is smaller which is great for learning. The business program is a really good program to prepare you for a business degree.

The professors were caring and thoughtful the atmosphere was very charming I really liked the small classroom sizes
I would like to see a higher focus on acceptance of diversity. The current makeup of the student body is somewhat identical in some aspects. The introduction of people from other walks of life would give this place some personality and offer great perspective.
As an international student, guidance has been outstanding. Everyone has been kind and patient in explaining and helping in anything I require.
It’s a great school, i loved being there and it’s a great place if your looking for a school that’s not too big.
If you want to go to a small university that is more of a community this place is for you, for more extroverted people it might not be the best fit either.
Piedmont has some great teachers and the cost of education is reasonably low compared to some other. You don't lose quality of education because of the low cost and that is very important. I researched for a month comparing and I am very happy with my choice.
This was a different experience for me as a first-time college student everyone was nice but I felt different Everyone wants to feel accepted to a new school maybe I will feel that way as time goes by when I actually start classes. I'm nervous about this new experience and running track at the college level I feel like I'm ready
Freshman year was the best and recommended PIU to everyone. PIU was a family. Today however, I would never recommend PIU. When PJ was brought in as the new dean of men (after he pushed to get Dean S. fired) so the decline began. PJ is a cancer that has stripped PIU as a place conducive for educational or spiritual growth. With his lack of leadership abilities came alcohol and drug use that was virtually non-existant under previous deans. PIU is no longer a place safe for students. The focus is not on how to get more students in so they can receive more government money. No longer a place to build up bold men and women to take the gospel into the world. In less than 2 years PIU has successfully traded Christ for the world. Founder and alumni would be disgusted to see what PIU has become.
I personally love the closeness of the school because everyone knows everyone. My teachers are great and they actually care about our well-being in and outside of the classroom. The food is not great, but they are working on it because they have been listening to the student's comments. Overall, I love it and plan on staying all four years of my degree.
Staff and professors are timely in their communications and interested in the students progress. Online classes are structured well and the syllabus is easy to understand and follow.
I am here as an ASL Interpreting major, and this program of study will train you the best way possible. The bible classes and professors are amazing! I'm thankful for the opportunity to attend here.
PIU strives to cultivate a unified campus focused on Christ. They allow one to strive to reach their best qualities and to grow in both knowledge and in their relationship with Christ. While they are still working on ways to grow and make their campus and facilities better, it is a God-honoring school, bringing young adults up in a way that is honoring to God.
