Cardiotech Ultrasound School is a really small school, but everyone is like family there. The desks and classrooms may be tiny but we make it work. I applied at that school because my mother just recently diagnosed with cancer, and thanks to our ultrasound technician, we get to know right way that it's malignant. That's why I applied and want to be successful in that field, so I can save lives. I love to save lives, I believe God put me in this world to help out others. Overall, HICCUS is what the school called themselves, it is short for Houston International College Cardiotech Ultrasound School, not a bad school.
Poor school, teachers were not very knowledgeable or helpful, aside from only 1 excellent classroom instructor! machine's were old and outdated and a lot of them were broke down, getting help is very difficult and limited. I do not recommend this school at all. It's also way too expensive for what you get it's definitely not worth more than about 3 to $5,000 total and yet they make you pay around $24,000 on average!
Do not go here. Me and my classmates own more than 20k and we can not find jobs, due to this school never sending us to a clinical site. We have no experience. No one has a job and we are paying so much. Please do not come here.
Great school one on one teaching, hands on, quaint and personable
Since the school is so small there is alot of one on one time with student and professor.
