They have an amazing teaching program!
My aunt graduated from there about 20 years ago with her teaching degree. I am now a junior following in her footsteps. Cameron University Has a shockingly great and qualified staff despite the size of the town we live in. I would recommend this university to anybody! I have met. some amazing professors, and students that have become amazing teachers. No matter your age or background, Cameron University will open their arms to you and your education.

It has been good so far. Still quite new to the school, but the people are nice. The staff is helpful in answering all my questions and getting me applied for my college courses as well as transferring courses that are required. The school is very big, and there is a club for everyone out there if you so wish to join one. I've heard that there's no baking club, but my goal is to try to start one since I love to bake. Something I think they should add is 8-week courses. 8-week courses are a real-time saver and let you take the same amount of classes in a shorter amount of time. The last college I went to had that, and it was really great. Cameron's website is easy to follow, and everything you need is at the click of a button. Whether it be college board, college profile, or class credits, you can find it all on their sites. The school periodically sends emails to students about upcoming events, which I think is a really great thing. I am excited to keep working on my degree here.
I am a senior in High School doing concurrent enrollment. Because Cameron is closely related to my high school it was an incredibly easy process. There were several counselors/enrollment people? who helped me understand the best classes for me to take. The professors have been incredibly understanding and the workload is quite light. I chose to do Zoom classes because of their affordability. It has been amazing. There was a little bit of technology trouble at the beginning of the semester, but it's been resolved. Though I do not attend my classes on campus, I have been there several times. The campus has a beautiful landscape with lots of places to enjoy the scenery. However, I find the classrooms to be worn down, dark, and non-conducive to learning. Being in a Cameron classroom is like being in a basement. Overall I think this was one of the best colleges I could have asked for virtual concurrent, but after I graduate High School I do not plan on going here.
