Cal U is an overall great campus and I'm proud to be a part of the community. My original plan to join the Army. I went through all the steps but I was not medically cleared to join due to my history of childhood asthma. After that setback, I have decided to pursue Nursing. I immediately applied to Cal U and Penn State, but of course (after visiting), I chose Cal U. The campus is small but amazing! The professors are here to help and do all they can do to help you succeed. Almost through with my first semester and my experience so far is remarkable. I enjoy and welcome the responsibility that comes along with being a college student and look forward to the years to come. My plan is to graduate and become a successful nurse. I enjoy helping others and have compassion for all ages.
If I could change one thing about Cal U, it would be to add another cable machine in the gym. Myself, along with my buddies enjoy going to the gym and working out together.
Review California University of Pennsylvania
I love attending CalU because it fits me really well. It is a medium sized school so class sizes are relatively small and more personal. There is something for everyone on campus like clubs, organizations, a ton of food options, activities, events, and places for commuters to relax. I transferred there a year ago and now I wish I went here to begin with. This school is perfect for my major which is social work. All the faculty in the Social Work department have been really helpful and knowledgeable. Social work is the second most common major at CalU behind Education. That is one of my favorite things because a lot of people I run into daily are in my major and are in the same classes as me. There are also a lot of resources on campus that are very nice and helpful.

I really love this school and I would recommend CalU to anyone!
An amazing University for students seeking an enjoyable college experience. Beautiful campus, not too big and not too small, with so much to do. My favorite aspect of the University as a whole are the facilities and technology. The recreational hall is amazing and offers so much more than just a fitness facility. Some lab classrooms have large Mac computers that make projects easy and professional. More than enough desktop computers on campus and plenty of space to get work done in a quiet setting. One thing I dislike is the majority of work in core classes is done online like tests and quizzes, but that's just a personal preference for me. Some may like that! All in all, such an amazing, fun and diverse setting to receive a top notch education.
