My overall experience at CSULA has been positive. I was able to transfer from a community college to CSULA to continue my education and complete my bachelor’s. I liked how easy it was to maneuver their website, whether it was for classes registration, paying fees, looking at financial aid, or booking an appointment with a counselor. I would like to see change in student events and giving students who don’t live on campus more opportunities to be social with their peers.
I like how accessible the school is with different means of transportation to commute here. Some of the professors do feel lackluster in terms of energy and teaching ability and feel like they are just there. However, this does not speak for everybody, I don't feel this sentiment for all the professors where as some do come to class each day with the same passion and desire to teach.
So far my experience has been good. I like how the campus offers many resources for students and tend to have a lot of workshops for students who have trouble with anything and everything. One thing I would like to see change is the amount of internships available for students. Although there are a lot of resources, a certain amount of internships are not enough. Students need more internships that have flexible hours and capture students’ interests.
What I like about this experience, was the diversity and new people I have met. As well as the understanding and supportive professors as I continue my education at this school. As for what I would like to see change includes the increase funding to new supplies as well as new infrastructures towards some building as many are becoming run down. Also the amount of resources around are difficult to find so I would wish it would be much easier in the future for new students heading to this college.
The environment in CSULA is like no other, when you first enter campus you feel like it’s the place you belong. The students here are so kind and will help you and give you advise to be a successful student. I felt welcomed since the day I went to orientation and that is something rare to find. There are different clubs and groups that help you feel more involved with the CSULA community and I highly recommend joining one.
The classes at Calstate LA are very interesting and useful. I feel that I have learned so much in college compared to high school. What I think would benefit all students is, more classes available to take during winter and summer sessions.
Cal State LA is a great school. They are very diverse. Big and nice campus, very short drive to get there. I feel at home.
Overall the schools is great, there are many services provided by the school. The staff is extremely friendly and welcome to help any student in need. The teachers teach good they are relatively friendly and offer every student help.
so far my experience at cal state los Angeles is great they have several resources , but they are too expensive
The people and professors here are alright, most here are here to get a degree and go home, however there are plenty of opportunities here.
I appreciate California State University, Los Angeles for its vibrant campus community and diverse student body. The university's commitment to inclusivity and its numerous student organizations make it a dynamic place to learn and grow. However, if I were to suggest an improvement, I would advocate for increased investment in state-of-the-art facilities and technology in the nursing simulation lab to enhance the overall learning experience and ensure students have access to the latest resources.
I enjoyed my time at California State University Los Angeles. I am majoring in Accounting. I participate in other extra curricular activities and it helps
Csula is a very spacious, diverse and open school. There are a lot of things to do on campus and it is sort of easy to navigate on campus. The teachers are exceptional !
I honestly love Cal State LA. It’s a very welcoming school and I love how it’s very different from other schools. They are super helpful and make every student feel heard. The help is there when needed and the professors are very understanding.
Overall my experience at CAL State LA has been a positive experience, this is said when taking into account the university environment, professor assistance, additional assistance, and many resources there are to benefit students.
I like how how in Cal State LA we have help such as the Center for Academic Success, being able to hire a tutor, and the food pantry. I wish the school was a bit more sociable or wish there was a bit more student involvement or events.
California State University - Los Angeles (CSULA) is a deeply underfunded school with many opportunities if one takes the opportunities given. I really appreciated the people I met at this school and the support I got from my professors. I would like to see the funding of the school being put to good use instead of on other things that are not supportive of the students (the ones funding the schools).
