This was an amazing school for academics and students with disabilities. I had great counselors and they made the process of booking tests for my disability very easy. The science department has professors who really care about your learning and go out of their way to help you understand the material.
I love Cal Stare East Bay University. I was introduced through their small business program. It was very impactful and helped me create a business and a e-commerce platform, California Shop Small.
Wonderful school with awesome programs in different areas of study!

This campus is a very diverse campus, with super nice people. This is a secluded campus on a hill, the views over looking the bay area is so pretty.
Bro honestly I'm not even a student here, I'm literally a high school student. The reason I'm filling out this survey is because I thought it would be an easy scholarship, and I guess that it would be if I was an actual high school freshman. I mean I've been to the campus and it was pretty cool I guess but other than that I really know nothing about it to be honest.
Something I like about this school is that everyone on campus is very friendly. A change would be the housing.
East Bay is an excellent school that values integrity, diversity, and interpersonal connections. As an undergraduate-focused school, East Bay stands out in their inclusion with student research.
Well I love my science department and had a wonderful experience with teachers and the campus being beautiful, I feel that the administrative department and counselors are lacking. For students considering Cal State East Bay I highly encourage them to build a great network between teachers and students especially upper level students in order to understand your needs and meet your goals for whatever degree you are obtaining. I feel that the Hayward campus does cater more to the business and social science courses. The school needs to remodel the science department.
I’ve had a great experience so far at East Bay. I love that I have the flexibility to choose between a variety of both online, on-campus, or hybrid classes. Also, all of the staff members that i’ve interacted with are so supportive. The only thing that is inconvenient is that some classes are on canvas and others are on Blackboard, which can make things confusing and frustrating at times. I feel like the school needs to stick to one platform.
My experience has been very pleasant, from the first day they have helped me a lot to find the right classes for me. The teachers are always aware of my progress and when for some reason I fall behind in a task or activity I always receive an email asking if everything is okay and if I need help with something.
My Experience at California State University - East Bay was amazing! Right from the beginning, the University was supportive and informative as to what is expected of their students and how they will support your journey on and off campus. My Professors in the last 3 years try their hardest to be aware of their students and set them up for success in the class. It is clear in all courses through the University that they do not want to fail students but encourage their students to want more of their educators and the education. When looking for a University I made sure that I would end up in a spot where the transition from High School to College would be smooth and that my education would not be abandoned. CSU-East Bay has fulfilled everything I could imagine from my College Experience and has proven what their investment will bring into my academic/professional career once graduated. Thank you.
I am a current student at CSU East bay. One thing that I would like to say about this University is how diverse it is. I feel very safe and secure going to this college and so far I have met so many people. My college experience so far has been great and happy to say that it has provided me with everything that I need whether it helps with classes, tutoring, making new friends, and also getting my dedication.
This is my third year at CSU East Bay and I have enjoyed it for the most part! My most pleasant experience was always when classes were in person during my first year because I really enjoyed the interactive nature of classes and the acclimation of socialization that came with it!
I truly do like the campus. All the people here are very nice including all the professors I've had so far. The dorms are very nice and all my roommates are nice as well. The only bad part to this school is that if you are staying in the dorms I highly recommend having a fan because there are no AC units in any of the rooms and almost all of the classrooms. The food is very good here and I like that you can use your ID card to exchange for meals as well (if you have flex dollars or bay bucks). The gym is very nice with everything you need in it and it has AC. There are a lot nice places to hang out and the view overlooks the whole entire bay, it is so pretty here. The weather is fairly nice here (except the heat wave CA is currently in right now).
As a fresh college student at the campus, it is very welcoming. The professors are very helpful, everything is generally easy to navigate, and there's always space for you or your group.
My experience here at CSU - Easy bay is just how i spent my high school days. I wake up, go to class, finish class and go back to the dorms. I finish my homework in the dorms and find a place to eat. There are many clubs that people should join, though some of them do lack the proper needs to continue running. The best part I would say about my college experience here would be the people that i have met. Building connections here is definitely easier. It's easy to receive help from professors and staff members, Other students that have been in a similar situation as you have also spoken up about what they have done to avoid situations.
Transferring to East Bay during the pandemic was a smooth transition.
The university is extremely helpful in answering any questions students have. In addition, professors are accommodating to students enduring harsh obstacles and problems during this troubling time.

Great experience, allowed me to truly find myself and what mattered most to me. I found life long friends and was inspired to continue my path to education via graduate school.
