My Experience at California State University - East Bay was amazing! Right from the beginning, the University was supportive and informative as to what is expected of their students and how they will support your journey on and off campus. My Professors in the last 3 years try their hardest to be aware of their students and set them up for success in the class. It is clear in all courses through the University that they do not want to fail students but encourage their students to want more of their educators and the education. When looking for a University I made sure that I would end up in a spot where the transition from High School to College would be smooth and that my education would not be abandoned. CSU-East Bay has fulfilled everything I could imagine from my College Experience and has proven what their investment will bring into my academic/professional career once graduated. Thank you.
I loved how inclusive and diverse Cal state East Bay is! The professors are overall very helpful and want to see students succeed. I love the environment and the atmosphere and the vibes are immaculate. Most of all, I love the location of the school and how it was a commuter school for me. I was able to travel to and from Concord, and enjoyed the scenery that Hayward had to offer. My only recommendation would be for the advisors to really put themselves out there for freshmen to take advantage of. Had I been guided by a counselor from the start, I wouldn’t have taken useless classes that didn’t even benefit me for my major. That is the reason why I rated it 4/5 stars other wise I loved this school and it will always hold a special place for me.
I enjoyed all of my undergraduate career at CSU East Bay. The professors are some of the most amazing educators I have had. The class sizes are not extremely large, making it so that it is much easier to focus during lecture. Staff is very helpful. Campus life is always lively, they have an array of different services available for students. I love how relatively close buildings are and it does not take too long to get from one class to another.
Before the pandemic, CSUEB would host fun and great events which made it that much more enjoyable to attend. It is very diverse and they offer so many different clubs and programs, making it so that it is very inclusive. If I could go back to the time where I was deciding where to go, I would definitely have CSUEB as one of my tops again!
