Life here on campus is above average I would say. The campus is nice and clean but not as nice as you would expect out of a UC. Here are a list of pros and cons I find. Pros: Alot of resources, fairly small campus, easy transportation, sports. Cons: Not many places to eat, not many places to study, parking is bad. Overall my experience here has been great so far. The staff have been very helpful, there is diversity on campus, and schooling is very affordable. There are many things to do not only on campus but also within the city. I would also highly recommend going greek!
Fresno State has wonderful programs, great school spirit, D1 athletics, and is one of the cheapest CSUs! The campus is very nice and has many fun activities to participate in. The football games are full of school spirit and make the campus and overall exciting experience. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I transferred in from a community college and struggled to figure out my classes my first semester of college at Fresno State. Regardless, the advisors are very nice and helpful and this school sets you up for whatever career you may want to pursue! The living on and around Fresno State is cheap compared to other colleges and other locations. There are lots of great food places and restaurants surrounding the campus as well. Fresno itself can be a little dangerous in certain areas, but if you are living in a good part of town, there is nothing to worry about! Overall, Fresno State is a wonderful school to complete your undergrad or even graduate programs at! Go Dogs!
Although most of my college career at Fresno State happened during COVID, I never felt disconnected from my classmates or professors. My senior year happened completely in person and it was a very memorable experience! The campus life is very exciting and truly makes it feel welcoming for all students
