We have had such a great experience at CSUDH. I wasn’t sure if we were making the right decision to attend there as the rating on some sites (like Niche) are not very good. We decided to go with our gut and chose the school that “felt” best. I am so happy we did! My daughter has been thriving here. The campus is beautiful and her professors are well-prepared, fair and accessible. The dorms are brand new and incredibly beautiful, and she’s met lots of really nice, intelligent, highly motivated students here. It’s a wonderful campus with new, modern facilities and a ton of supports for students - especially first years. There are so many bonuses here - free mental health care, periodic free food and supplies, cool promotional events and the price is very reasonable too. CSUDH is definitely a university on the rise!
California State University Dominguez is diverse campus which I have enjoyed attending too! Dominguez Hills is very close to home and the staff and faculty are engaged in every student obtaining their bachelor's degree.
I think the way people view Dominguez Hills needs to change, for example like people saying, "everyone can easily get accepted" "it's not a well-qualified school." At the end, its ones choose, and Dominguez Hills has many services and programs to offer to their students.

The students and staff are really great! My school counselors and academic advisors have been extremely helpful when it came to enrolling in classes, especially during my first year. They created a very welcoming environment and really helped its new students with the process of transitioning from high school to college!
