Class sizes are great! The size of the classes are relatively small so the professors get to know your name and you incorporate a closer bond with them. The only thing that does make the Chico experience difficult is when it comes to office hours because there a professors where they make it seem like they don't care about you. From personal experience, I stopped going to some of my professors' office hours because they don't really help you. They mainly just give you your score in the class but even then that is posted online. Some of the classes are half online and half where you go to the traditional classroom so you'll never miss what was done in class so that is convenient!
Review California State University - Chico
Chico State is an amazing school, with great opportunities. It is a college based town, and the students are friendly! I am a legal studies major and they have a great program that offers many internships. The student advisers are very helpful and there is always something going on within the campus. there is an organization for anyone, and the professors really seem to care.
So far my experience at Chico state has been amazing! I have met a lot of people and really enjoy being here. I lived in Southern California my whole life, so I thought coming up here would be difficult but I found that it wasn't very hard to assimilate to everything up here. I would like to see a bigger change in some shops in the downtown area because there are some nice places but not a lot. Other than that I have really enjoyed my time up here so far!
