Initially, I did not think I would attend Cal Poly Pomona. However, it is a decision I'm very glad I made. Campus culture is great, and I easily made quite a bit of friends and acquaintances throughout campus. Many professors are great at what they do and show lots of passion for their jobs. The only downside is the campus layout, it is quite a bit of walking so prepare for that! Parking is also not that great, our five story structure is usually packed by 1 pm. Quite a bit of people on campus are a bit shy, so it takes people a while to get out of their shell, which may lead to some difficulties socializing.
Really great architecture program!
Class registration and schedules are a bit difficult, lots of people I know deal with waitlists. Advisors don’t seem to be much help.
Commuter campus so the dorms aren’t super full of life.
I’ve had great experiences with all the professors I’ve encountered so far, all have been very supportive!
Would 100% recommend CPP to anyone looking tinto it! Beautiful campus with lots of nature and animals throughout to visit :)

CPP is an excellent college! I've had many classes with wonderful professors who genuinely care about their students. CPP is also very diverse. Keep in mind that CPP is a commuter school, so most people come here for school and nothing else. Making friends may be more difficult, but with a little effort, you'll have friends in no time.
