Three things about CCU that sold me- Price, Curriculum Quality, Self-paced.
Price: They offer full interest-free loans on the tuition. You just need to rent the books or purchase an unlimited college book membership somewhere like Cengage. Its about $20k in total for a bachelors… That rivals the per-year cost at the cheapest colleges in the nation.
Curriculum Quality: The classes don’t have lectures but the textbooks utilized are very interesting and informative and are plenty enough for the exams and essays. If your interests spike in something you can reach out to the teachers for more info or use your own resources for further knowledge.
Pace: You control it all. I work full time as a Senior Software Developer and that means I put in 60+ hours some weeks and less than 20 hours other weeks. CCU allows you to work at whatever pace you are comfortable with. The only catch is that you need to complete at least once class every 6 months which is asking below the bare-minimum.

There are no lectures from instructors. This university is really just bare bones self study and take quizzes and exams. If you want to save money, this is the university for you. If you want to have student and instructor interaction, you won’t get that here at thru school. The plus side is that I can do courses at my own pace that works well because I have a full time job and just had two significant deaths in my family the last year which really turned my life upside down. Faculty was able to give me some time off to grieve, which I appreciate so much.
There is no campus life for me because it is all online for me but this is both good and bad for me as I need a bit more structure to be able to finish classes sooner. I would actually like to be learning more in my classes. I tend to not learn as much when the material is dry and boring.

Wonderful experience! As the Spouse of a Army Veteran the staff in charge of VA benefits made sure my education allotment was deposited on time every month. The self paced curriculum was perfect for a working adult student, Amazon prime for students was half priced. Overall good experience.
