Calhoun has been a great 2-year college. They have great professors that are passionate about what they are teaching to their students. Calhoun also has a great school environment that is very welcoming and friendly. All of the staff have been very helpful to me and everyone else. They have a great selection of clubs to chose from that are very successful and welcoming. Their buildings and facilities are always clean and updated. The Honor Society that I am apart of have been very welcoming and has offered great volunteering opportunities throughout the course of the semesters. They make it very easy to have access to advisors and other personnel and staff. The advisors are friendly and personal and always help individuals navigate the college. When I was fresh out of high school, they made the application and registration process very simple and easy. All of the teachers are qualified, staff is always kind, and the environment is always welcoming.

I have the opportunity to attend a diverse community college that feels like a family. While exiting the military I needed to find a college that was able to fulfill my education, commitment, and college experience needs. I was able to learn about Calhoun Community College through an academic advisor. I was able to get a more understanding of their Nursing program and what to expect. With this college you have staff that goes beyond their call of duty and places students needs above their own. While communicating through email and phone calls, I had a support team willing to help me achieve my education needs. The different functions, activities, clubs, and academic teams gave me a sense of hope, support, and encouragement to not only achieve my goals but getting involve to help others. You will not regret attending this college. They will prepare you for your future and provide you with the necessary tools for your next step with your educational goals.
Calhoun is a good college to go to for your basic education needs. I enjoy the environment of the school. Staff is (mostly) friendly and helpful. Student groups are friendly and welcoming. Everyone is eager to learn, and most the teachers are eager to teach. My only complaints are that most classes I have taken have been extremely disorganized and have severely lacked in communication with the students. That is the reason why I will only rate 3/5 stars. It has been very hard to communicate with the majority of faculty I have dealt with at Calhoun, and there has been very few able to provide clear and helpful answers to questions I have previously asked.
