I really like Calhoun so far! I attend the College at Huntsville, and the Campus is great. It's not too large and it's not hard to navigate. The professors are good, but there's always going to be some that are bad. That's fine though, you just have to be careful about who you take. There's a lot of spots on campus that you can just chill at, and the student lounges are pretty comfy.
Calhoun Community College is a great place to start your overall college experience. There are many scholarships available to apply for, and you will receive them more often than not. I am currently in my last semester at Calhoun, and because of the scholarships I've received, I have had two years of college education completely paid for. The staff are always willing to help students, and our education is their priority. I have had a wonderful experience here, along with tons of clubs and organizations you can join to connect with the community of Calhoun. I highly recommend starting here after graduating high school or even coming here to start your education later in life.
I have enjoyed going to this school. I have done online and on campus classes and don't have any complaints! The teachers that I've had are awesome and I learned several things in each class. I even learned life lessons from some of the teachers, so socially it was a good decision to go here also. They are really fast at responding to your problems via email in all departments I have dealt with, financial aid, advising, and admissions.
