Butte College offers a dedicated facility to help students control stress and all other emotional factors. As a first generation college student, I felt comfortable with all the tour guides that were kind. Most school counselors do their best to care for your needs/concerns. The campus stays looking well maintained! The cafeteria offers good options but not super great options. Overall, Butte College is affordable and extremely well with you if you need plans to pay for books/courses!
I really love how Butte college cares not only about its students, but also the environment. I have met so many teachers and faculty there that are really excited to help their students succeed in life and what they are passionate about! There are also many environment conscious choices around campus, such as carpool spaces, a bus system, and solar panels! Butte also did a lot to help students through the pandemic with additional grants and other forms of help. The campus itself is clean, and with areas such as the Queer resource center, road runner hub and food pantry, and the campus safe space, I always feel welcome and at ease.
Butte College is a great community college, especially for those a little nervous about going straight to a university! Butte is home to amazing staff who are passionate about their students and preparing them for future careers! With so many campus resources, Butte College, and staff, are available and eager to help you with any need. Truly the best place straight out of high school, or as a returning student!
