I have not yet started my classes, but my advisor has been amazing in getting where we are going! She helped me figure out my major as well. I am very excited to continue in the direction of getting my degree.
I liked the classes and professors very much. I was a part of their softball team and that ruined the experience for me. The softball coach, Sarah Richardson, was not a very good coach at all. She didn’t know how to coach a softball team and couldn’t run practices. She was overall a terrible coach and left our team with a conference record of 2-14. Lots of girls, including myself, are entering the transfer portal to try to play for a better coach with more skills. The school and learning environment overall was very good, but the athletics there are not good.
Overall, my experience is good. When it comes to academics, I wasn't given very much guidance or support my first year so I didn't do good second semester. But ever since that semester I have been working extremely hard to bring up my GPA and apply for graduate programs in School Counseling. As I had classes with some f the same professors, I noticed they make class exciting to be in and enjoy creating relationships with their students.
