I recently resigned from my position as an adjunct instructor after 3+ years. No increase in pay, promotion after positive evaluation, expected to work fulltime for very little pay (part time adjunct) with more tasks continually assigned. Micromanagement and no trust in faculty to create meaningful relationships with students. Feedback should be robotic with no emphasis on relationships for "equity". Time between classes is minimal and you are expected to work through holidays and every weekend. Beware! You can make a difference in education elsewhere.
This is my first year at Bryant & Stratton in the ADN program. This is a career change for me and I am going full time. I absolutely love this school! I was very apprehensive and was accepted to MATC, Carroll and Alverno but chose BSC because of the location, ADN program and location. I am so happy with my choice and excited to start clinicals! The teachers are amazing too. They really do care and invest a lot of time into this program. Don’t listen to the bad reviews! Don’t hesitate to go here. It is work, but worth it!:)
The learning environment is perfect for someone who has a busy schedule but can dedicate time to learning. I enjoy the ease of online learning and am able to set a schedule so that my work is completed in a timely fashion. The professors are phenomenal and always available to assist you, if you need it! This has been a very impressive and excited Freshman year!
