It’s very expensive. It’s my only real college experience but you teach yourself. Deadlines with financial aid for new semesters are a disorganized mess. I’m in the nursing program. They are very strict. Heartless. If you are late to clinical you get kicked out of the program period. No mercy. Even if life happens. That doesn’t sit well with me. Especially being a nurse already and working in this field. LIFE HAPPENS. WORK PLACE UNDERSTANDS. If you run a few minutes late it is OKAY. If you call and explain and you’re on your way there shouldn’t be an issue. There is no magical way of things always going as planned. In a perfect world. Not understanding at all. Leave 7 hours early or just sleep there the night before and you shouldn’t have any issues. Say goodbye to your whole life. Oh also, most of the test questions— the correct answer? WRONG! Eye roll x1,000. Just keep scrolling—looking at going to nursing school? NEXT! You’re welcome.
I was unsuccessful in passing an ADN program at Kent State Ashtabula even though my grade point was 2.8. The administrations peopme were welcoming and guided me through everything I had to do to applied for my second chance to achieve my goal of becoming a RN!! They helped me transfer some credits and I have had a fabulous experience with the college thus far!! Can’t wait to start classes September 5!!
I loved the small classroom sized so the teacher actually knew who you were. I campus was small so there was no getting lost. Everyone knew everyone. Overall great campus!
