I love Broward College because it's very close to home. The tuition there isn't too expensive for In-state students. The teachers and courses are very flexible especially when taking it online. The online courses are the best so far. Every teacher communicates with their students and grades the assignments as soon as possible. I find it easier because I can dedicate my full time and attention to what I need to learn and if I need help, I know the school has tutors on campus for FREE! That's amazing! They library is open late for anyone who has a busy schedule.
Broward College is amazing! So far, I'm loving everything about it as a first year student. The teachers that I have had so far have been very supportive with the students and are willing to help if needed. At the moment I am taking a speech class (SPC 1608) and because of the teacher’s passion, it is helping me to become a more confident speaker and really engage in classroom activities. Student life is very active, every few days they are doing something that interacts with the students and it really helps bring fun to school for a lot of people that are there all day and really need. Broward College was not my first choose when applying to colleges, but after my first semester there I can say that it was the best place to go to get my A.A because it saves me money and allows me to build up my academics for when it’s time to transfer to a University
Broward College overall was very good! Most, not all, but most of my teachers really knew and enjoyed the subjects they were teaching and helped me to succeed well in my future. As long as you are willing to make an effort all of the classes are doable. The only complaint I really have is cleanliness of the bathrooms they aren't kept very well. As well as the students enrolled, since this is a community college everyone is welcome to come but this does cause some issues and imbalances. Races aren't spread very well amongst the college and most students aren't very involved and would rather stay to themselves. Overall I had a pretty good experience at this college and believe it has well prepared me for my next journey.
