Brookhaven College Reviews
Review Brookhaven College
I love the school. It's beautiful and clean. Most of my professors are very passionate about their teaching so they are always willing to meet up with you and answer your questions. However, not everyone is. That also means you have to be a very independent student. But you can do it! One of the changes I would like to see the most is the expand of the parking lots. It's very hard to find parking if you're a bit, just a bit, late. Other than that, everything is pretty good.
I have truly enjoyed my experience at Brookhaven Community College. My professors have been excellent and very much invested in their students' success. The campus is surrounded by walking paths that allow the students and faculty to relax and explore the natural landscape of trees, fields, and creeks. Wildlife abounds!
As far as community colleges go, Brookhaven is great because of its low key atmosphere, helpful staff and friendly students. There was a severe mix up with my schedule recently and I had no idea who to talk to about it. Luckily, a nearby student heard me ask a clerk some questions and offered to show me to some advisors he thought could help me. After that, everything was straightened out fairly quickly. Brookhaven College is a great and friendly place to get college credits out of the way. Don't let the laid back atmosphere fool you though. Brookhaven may be a community College, but that doesn't mean the professors don't take their jobs seriously!
