Brookhaven College Reviews
Review Brookhaven College
I have truly enjoyed my experience at Brookhaven Community College. My professors have been excellent and very much invested in their students' success. The campus is surrounded by walking paths that allow the students and faculty to relax and explore the natural landscape of trees, fields, and creeks. Wildlife abounds!
As far as community colleges go, Brookhaven is great because of its low key atmosphere, helpful staff and friendly students. There was a severe mix up with my schedule recently and I had no idea who to talk to about it. Luckily, a nearby student heard me ask a clerk some questions and offered to show me to some advisors he thought could help me. After that, everything was straightened out fairly quickly. Brookhaven College is a great and friendly place to get college credits out of the way. Don't let the laid back atmosphere fool you though. Brookhaven may be a community College, but that doesn't mean the professors don't take their jobs seriously!
There is a huge amount of flexibility with classes and curriculum. You have to apply early for the time you want though. If the time you want gets filled up with the maximum number of students, you'll have to go with your second pick! Be sure to complete enrollment or you'll find yourself in a difficult, but still manageable position in regards to keeping your graduation on track.
