The instructors here at brightwood are very knowledgeable instructors, who know what they are teaching. They are always willing to help, but you have to be willing to ask for help and approach them. They are not mind readers and expect their students to keep up with the work load and ask questions when needed.
You start the LVN program as a class and stay with this class until graduation. There are different instructors, mostly a core teacher for each of the three levels, plus occasional teachers for special classes, such as clinicals or labs. Our class is rather large starting with 40 students, then currently at 30 students three months in. The teachers have been great.
While others have been able to still work at least part time, I have found that I need all my time to focus on school. Class is Monday through Friday from early in the morning until 2:30. I study every afternoon/evening to prepare for the next days test. This is not really a hassle or frustration as I had planned on this schedule. I have found with total focus I can hold a 4.0 GPA.
