Brigham Young University Reviews
The school is definitely difficult but very rewarding. The people you are surrounded by are hardworking and good examples. The campus is absolutely beautiful! They always have fun events and activities happening on campus and they make all of the sporting events fun for all of the students by providing a roc section and letting them participate in half time games. Each of the professors are unique and their lectures are very entertaining and interesting. I feel completely safe while on campus and Provo is a fun city with a lot going on and activities to do. Overall, BYU is a great school academically and socially.
It really is an amazing school. I've learned so much from the teachers I have found to be well rated on RateMyProfessor. Provo is a cool place too with lots of variety in entertainment. It's a big city that is just down the road from a vast and beautiful canyon. I think my main struggle is that there is a forced sense of needing to conform to the general society (a corrupted view of the school's religion). Other than that, the art is fantastic, the buildings are pretty, the duck pond and trail nearby it are the best to get a little breather, and it's always so clean! And it's hecka cheap!
BYU is a wonderful school! The pricing is quite affordable, especially considering the caliber of school it is. Academics are great, the staff is devoted to helping students to succeed, and it seems like there are lots of programs focused on helping the individual students. It is not a diverse school by any means, but it makes up for that in that most students are bilingual. A beautiful campus, with decent housing. It also has great food available on campus, is very safe, and student life is great, with lots of things to do outside of class.
