This is my first year at Bridgevalley and so far it has been a good experience. Where it’s not a super big school I feel like all the classes you see faces you know and the teachers are involved in your education. I have enjoyed my time at Bridgevalley so far.
Excellent school and wonderful curriculum. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone looking for farther their education.
I transferred this year from Fairmont State University to Bridgevalley. I love all of the doctors and professors there. Everything is so simple and easy and I love it. Such a great school!!
BridgeValley is a college that cares about the future of their students. They want each student to be successful.
I really like going to Bridgevalley Community and Technical College. The South Charleston campus is accessible on the KVRTA. They have many degrees to pick from. They have a wonderful campus life. The teachers there are great and they have an active student body. It's not too small or too big in my opinion. The advisors and consulers there are very active. Theirs online and in-person classes. They have many extracurricular and free school activities.
I love this college campus!! It’s always so clean and the staff are super friendly and welcoming! I’ve been going here for almost a year now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
This was the worst experience I have ever had. I was kicked out 2 days before finishing and wasn’t able to graduate after being an A+ student all three years there. They do not care about the students. If the facility accuses you of something, you’re automatically guilty no matter what. I do not recommend going to this school.
Bridge Valley Community and Technical College has been an amazing experience so far. Fall of 2021 I transferred from Marshall University to Bridge Valley and it was the best academic decision I have made. Bridge Valley’s Professor are very understanding and will help you step by step. Overall the school has been better for me finically and academically. There’s little to none pros about Bridge Valley, they truly are one of the best schools in the area.
nice campus and everyone is nice. The open house was well organized and everyone was eager to help. Best option for a community and technical college. Definitely check this college out!
I enjoyed my time at Kanawha Valley community and Technical because the professors were great and actually cared about the students. The school is very hands on and taught differently for every student.
Kanawha Valley Community & Technical College is overall a very successful college, and have amazing college professors. They also offer plenty of help for students to take advantage of in different locations of the school. I honestly can say, I enjoy college a lot because of them.
Everything has been straight forward and very easy. The people are very helpful if you have any questions. The education I'm getting is definitely worth the money I'm paying.
They are always offering career seminars and emails of people who are hiring according to your degree.
I am still pre nursing at this time but so far my classes have been great. The teachers are helpful and want you to succeed. The classes aren't huge so you feel like a person and not just a number.
They are always having activities for students. The campus is the cleanest I have ever seen. Its pleasing to the eye and not stuffy or cold feeling like most classrooms. There isn't an athletic center, but I wish they had one.
50% are working adults with families and jobs; 50% are 18-25 living at home or recently married with parttime jobs. Most nursing students go to class 12 hrs a day 2-3 times a week with clinical hours 2 times a week and enough home work for 5 days. There is little time to socialize.
There are no atheltics, no exercise facilities, a few demonstrations by companies soliciting business, a poorly stocked library, minimal activities directed to teenagers and not the over abundant adult population that attends. If there is a student center it is too small to see.
