The teachers are helpful with difficult curriculum and often offer one on one time. They have great resources for networking, finding a job, and getting liscensed. Classroom sizes are intimate with culturally diverse peers who are all at different stages in their design careers. There is lots of assistance available both academically, professionally, financially, and mentally but you have to make sure to ask and sign up for whatever assistance you may need. Students are often friendly and there are several different clubs organized and run by students. The programs also allow students to work part-time or full-time during the day with several classes being offered in the evening to accommodate for work schedules.
I am amazed by the school's ability to adapt and provide a well rounded fully remote design education during the pandemic. Before the pandemic the school had a few accredited online master degree programs in design which made the transition easier. There are lots of online resources for the students to help them in whatever they may need. There are students from all over the world and from various timezones that participate in the virtual class meetings. The professors are often great at being considerate of the different timezones represented and sometimes offer other meeting times or shortened meetings. It's also very doable, and encouraged, to work while attending the school remotely since several of the virtual meetings are in the evening.
The institution must redesign the procedure by which students are admitted. There is a tendency for students to be unable to actively advance in their academic careers because core requirements are difficult to meet.
I appreciate the variety of intensive courses available. There are instructors who go into great detail on specific topics. Though some instructors are notoriously unclear when it comes to knowledge.
