I am currently in the process of transferring to Bluefield State University from Wytheville Community College. During this process, the administrators at Bluefield State have been really understanding about my situation and were very helpful when it came to putting me in the correct major, considering my ambitions. I am now studying business in hopes to open my own childcare center in Bland County, Virginia. The only changes I would recommend to the staff at Bluefield State University is becoming more open contact. It is a little difficult to get ahold of someone to talk to but once you do, they are amazing!
Title: Transforming the Matriculation Process for International Students
My college experience has been enriched by the dedication to providing financial assistance and hands-on learning opportunities. However, the matriculation process for international students needs improvement. The application process lacks clarity, a centralized platform is necessary. Establishing an international student support center and diverse outreach efforts would create a more inclusive environment. Tailored orientation programs for international students are essential for a smooth transition. Addressing these issues will foster a globally-connected community and enhance the college's reputation. As a grateful recipient, I am determined to advocate for positive changes and contribute to a more welcoming institution.

So far my experience as a BSU nursing student has been phenomenal! My instructors are truly the most intelligent, caring and understanding college instructors I have ever had. I would absolutely recommend going here for a nursing degree!
