Blue Mountain Christian University Reviews
Rating 3.79 out of 5 175 reviews
It is a great small community. All of your teachers know your name and are there to help you succeed, unlike many large universities. There are many ways in which one could grow. It is a Christian university, but sometimes the people can seem a little hypocritical, which is a downside in my opinion.
Some of the professors were among the best I have ever had, while some were very traditional and did not enable learning easily. I enjoyed my time while I was there, but as I was there they started to overemphasize certain aspects of their spending and very clearly started shifting their priorities to things like athletics and athletes. In spite of any issues, I likely would have recommended the school while I was there, but I am less sure now due to the trajectory they have been on.
I love how small the college is. Every professor knows each student by their name and is determined to ensure their success. For example, my history professor after every test and quiz makes sure to ask each student how they think they did. Not only that but it is hard not to feel at home here when everyone treats you like family whether that be classmates, teammates, roommates, professors, or even the cafeteria staff.
