I am a homeschooled student who has done PSEO through Bethel since February 2023. The thing that I love the most about Bethel is its incorporation of Christian values and its welcoming environment. One of my biggest concerns in my college journey is that going to a college could hurt my faith, but that is not a concern that have to worry about at Bethel. The only thing that I wish was different is the cost of tuition to go to Bethel. As a student-athlete, who has had little work experience, I worry about the cost, and how that will affect my future.
I loved my time at Bethel, I completed PSEO classes while living on campus. I really enjoyed the community of the students and staff and I loved the classes! I made some amazing friends and learned a lot.
Bethel University is the perfect school for someone looking to pursue higher education in a welcoming Christ-focused community. It's campus is beautiful, lakeside, and close to the twin cities. As for academics, Bethel offers many different courses each headed by a kind and helpful professor. The faculty has been nothing but great to me. I feel like I've really learned a lot from each class I've taken there.
Bethel University is a place to know about. The culture of the University allows every student to feel a part of the process. It creates an environment where student feels a part of the university family. The professors present themselves not only a teachers, but as parents who want to see the best coming out of their children. This is a place where I believe anyone can be somebody.
Bethel University cares deeply and very well for every single student. They equip their students for not only their professional life, but their personal life. They want to see everyone succeed.
Overall, I had a great experience at Bethel. My college experience was slightly tainted by Covid, but through it all, I would still say that my education at Bethel was transformative and worthwhile. I've made life long friends at Bethel and I will forever be grateful for the community that I had during my time there. If you're looking for a place to learn along side fellow, then I would recommend.
Bethel has been a great fit for me over the last year that I've been here. The students on campus are very pleasant. Bethel really gives students the feeling of being tight knit with everyone because the class sizes are small enough for the students to get to know their professors and classmates. As a student athlete at Bethel, this university has treated me tremendously. The thing I love the most is that everyone is treated as a child of God and no one is left out.
Bethel University offered a flexible, well rounded program for me to complete my BA through the CAPS program. The professors were knowledgeable and helpful, and have been a huge help in advising as I move on to Grad school.
I transfered to Bethel after my freshman year. I was included into their community almost immediately. I have found a home at Bethel. The campus is beautiful and I spend most sunny days at the lake front.
Bethel provided me with an incredible experience, where I got to pursue my degree in nursing, play a college sport, and make lifelong friends. Furthermore, I grew in my faith more than I could’ve ever imagine and my life was completely transformed.
The campus is beautiful, the buildings are renovated, and the food is good. Bethel feels like high school 2.0. It attracts many local high school students, so many people know each other when they enter their first year. As an out-of-state student, I felt like an outsider most of the time. That's before you get to the lack of racial/cultural diversity. The administration and student body are quite tone-deaf when it comes to race relations and making all students feel welcome.
I am currently finishing my first year at Bethel University. I have thoroughly enjoyed this campus along with it's community and staff. There are multiple organizations on campus that are open for students to receive help with writing essays or papers, finding resources for homework, job opportunities, identifying their calling, etc. The layout of this campus makes students feel comfortable and welcomed. This institution has created a spiritual and faithful community with constant activities and events. I have noticed many staff and major cuts throughout my year of attending, which is something I would like to see change.
I transferred to Bethel University and it very quickly became my home. The community is amazing and welcoming and has supported and pushed me to grow in my faith and my academic abilities. The professors, faculty, and coaches truly care about the students.
The atmosphere is very God-loving. The academics are exceptional as well. Sports are okay, the dorms are decent - not as bad as some of the other dorms I've seen. The campus is beautiful as well, you will always see a hammock outside whenever the weather permits it.
Bethel University offers a great CHRIST-centered education! While I attended during covid, the community was still intentional about building relationships. The faculty and staff are well-equipped and caring individuals who really care about the students belonging and then becoming all that GOD calls them to be as they discover their future vocation.
I like the school lots of kind people. The campus is very safe and secure. I like the Christian atmosphere. The school is very expensive though so make sure you have lots of scholarships. Some of the freshman dorms are old. The community is great and very welcoming and kind. The school does a great job of having lots of fun activities and events. There is a lot of PSEO kids who enroll and go to school here. Some of them stay in the dorms as well. There is a lot of great teachers here but limited majors and minors. Make sure to come here if they have your specific major. The school does a great job of making connections through networking and alumni's. Overall great experience make sure you love the small private school environment before coming here. I have enjoyed my first year as a freshman. I especially love all the sports teams and coach's. I highly recommend the track and field team and coaches. Its a very supportive Christan team. Love all the encouragement and support I have.
I absolutely loved my experience at Bethel! I was challenged academically and spiritually. I made some forever friends and I know they'll be around for the rest of my life. I even attended Bethel during the height of Covid and I felt that they handled it as well as possible.
I would encourage anyone and everyone to attend Bethel.
I would encourage anyone and everyone to attend Bethel.
I have loved my time at Bethel so far. The Christian environment is great. It is really cool how faith is integrated into almost every class.
Conservative, Christian school with a high level of academic rigor. The only drawback is the high cost of tuition.
Professors deeply care about the students and their academic progress. The staff provides MANY resources to help your progress. Very expensive. Food is amazing, especially compared to other universities
