What did I like about Bethany? The athletic department is great. Nice building has a turf and grass field. Gym is good they are building a new one as I’m writing this. In terms of the quality of the teams most are below average in our division but some do shine. Now academically they have a lot of good choices for majors and minors, but the academic buildings are either nice or old looking some don’t have ac or heat. The living buildings are the same way some are new with ac and heat but the older ones don’t have any ac or heat.
My Bethany College experience is pretty good. The classes I take my first year are not that hard and the professors that I have are willing to help me learn even when I don't really understand the lesson. Everyone here is very friendly.
The campus is scenic, condensed, and easy to navigate. All the staff I met with were friendly and the sports facilities are modern and well equipped. The dorms are cozy and provide ample living space. Overall the campus is impressive especially considering it’s small size.
Greek Life is a huge part of what has made my Bethany College experience memorable! I also have loved most of my professors and the wide variety of classes that are offered.
Bethany is what you make of it. I was outgoing and involved, so my experience was rewarding. There is a significant disconnect between the administration and the student body which can be frustrating at times. Academically, I was satisfied with my education as I prepare for my comprehensive exams and graduation.
Bethany college is a wonderful college that brings everyone together. I love the atmosphere I have chose for the next four years of my academic career.
Bethany had allowed me to register for classes. The next semester they asked me to take 3 more loans out without telling me where the money goes and was going to withhold me from attending and registering for future classes. Advisor told me that I'd never get into any program outside of Bethany even though I had done pretty well. As a young student I was unaware of what was going on. I had signed for the loans and ended up transferring because of the advice given to me. I was a 3.5 GPA student.
Also played athletics there and was injured. I was told that the school would cover medical expenses and because the trainer never documented the injury, I was forced to pay out of pocket. When I reached out the new trainer had no information and the old trainer left nothing behind.
School could be great but are ran by shady individuals who don't care for their students.

Bethany College is rather small and great for people who want a more personal classroom experience. The professors are always willing to help you if you have questions. There are always academic and recreational events on campus.
Well my experience in WV bethany college. It was a different and exciting experience where I got to meet new people and thankfully make a lot of friends
I talked to a couple of there coaches for football and they are very nice and respectful also one of my former teammates is playing football for Bethany and he says the campus is very nice
One of the best parts of being at Bethany is that it is so peaceful being in the middle of nowhere but this also means that the worst part is having to drive 15-30 minutes to town.
many teachers were great with online classes. However some of the professors weren't good at answering emails or giving assignments
Bethany is a lovely community. It is built on it's community and willingness to work together.i love bethany and I made a great choice going there!
Bethany College is a small liberal arts school in West Virginia. The small community and small class sizes gives you the opportunity to feel at home while away at school. It gives you the opportunity to easily grow in leadership positions and become closer with your professors as you continue through your major.
Great people, great professors, and great dorms. Everyone who works there cares about you, from the President to the Cafe workers.
A beautiful campus with small class sizes. There isn't much of a social scene here beyond Greek life. Dry campus with no bars and no shopping. Once on the mountain, you're there. Mostly quiet, not great living conditions. Educational programs are OK but not the best. Some great professors, some terrible ones. New leadership at the school since I've been there seems to be bettering the place slowly.
I am a sophomore at Bethany College and so far my career here has been wonderful. I love the dorms, the people, the atmosphere. It's all amazing. The small class sizes are perfect for me because it feels like you really get the one-on-one connection with your professors and you're not just some number in the classroom.
