BAU offers numerous amount of courses and pathways to different careers. The diversity of the university is amazing. The sense of community is there and thanks to the small class sizes, it is easy to find your "people" and build great relationships with the professors to tap into their network. They have great advisors and admissions team that will happily help you out. The think-tank on campus, Global Policy Institute offers internship opportunities and networking events, conferences, webinars where you can meet with prominent experts from DC community. BAU is doing a great job adapting post-covid environment by implementing hybrid education model. Professors are very engaging and accomodating. Highly recommended.
I loved my time at BAU, and still as an alum, I love to come back to DC to visit BAU. The campus is in the heart of DC, there are always cultural and art events happening around the campus especially during the summer time. Beautiful location, excellent education, great professors!
Overall it's been a very good experience. The staff members are friendly, the professors are well connected, have great work knowledge, and are helpful with networking. Also, there are students from everywhere, it's super diverse. It's a pretty small campus, not a typical college campus. There isn't really a party or sports scene, but if you want to hang out with friends off campus then there are always things to do in DC. Since I'm getting my master's degree, I actually quite like it, it feels very professional and I can hop in and out of my evening classes without having to deal with the partying. The dorms are great, not the typical college dorm room but feel more like a shared apartment with kitchen, rooftop, patio etc. And there are bus stops 2 minutes away from both the dorms and campus.
