Baton Rouge Community College is a great school to attend. They offer several online course and several online degrees. The onsite classrooms aren't too full and the professors really want to see you advance. There is also a parking garage on campus to eliminate some of the parking issues. I would recommend this school to anyone, especially people like myself who may have set out for a few years and decided to continue your education.
Review Baton Rouge Community College
The financial aids process at my community college is fairly simple and straightforward. My college offers federal direct subsidized, usubsidized loans, as well as, PLUS loans to eligible students. There are new policies, such as a first time Federal Subsidized student loan borrower is no longer eligible for the loan if you exceed 150% of the published length to graduate with your specific degree. Therefore, students are advised not to change their majors multiple times, or drop out of school, while attending college. Apart from these changes, the staff are very friendly and helpful! They work during school hours and walk-ins are welcome.
Overall, I had a fantastic time at BRCC. I had learned a lot of new things and the professors are amazing and patient. This school's spirit is what makes it unique. The school accept any race and identification. It feels like home. If I could do it all over again, I would definitely do it again! BRCC is the place to be. They have free tutoring and people who don't mind helping.
