When made me want to start school at Baker College was the one on one help they offered with financial aid. Moreover, I really liked the atmosphere, I have had 3 great professors out of almost 3 years. What I would like to see change is them bringing back that one on one interaction, informing the students of new approaches being made with instructions, better professors, and employees that are more helpful. The pay rate per class is a little expensive, so that's something that would be nice to change. The buy back on books are ridiculous. There is a serious issue with the fact that people spend $250.00 for a book and resale it 10 weeks later at the baker bookstore for $14.00 dollars, how does that make sense?
I have enjoyed my time at Baker College of Clinton Twp. The instructors here are extremely knowledgeable as they work in the fields they teach. The instructors care deeply about their students education and for the most part they all will take the extra time to meet with their students if it is needed. They are easily accessible through email and or phone if you may have a question. They bring to the classroom many different ways to teach; all most all use power points, some have used movies, you tube videos, guest speakers and field trips to help with our education.
The smaller class sizes allows for a lot of interaction with classmates and a more one on one education to help us learn and retain the information. You will find yourself having many classes together with several of the same people which helps build a bond and closeness with classmates and instructors.
I returned to college last year in my early 40's and was scared to death. I am glad that I chose Baker as my place to return as it helped to guide me through the return as an adult student. I have been extremely successful in my education path and I attribute some of that to Baker and the ease that it allowed for me to return. The instructors and the fellow classmates, young and old, have all helped me on this journey and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

I love Baker College of Clinton Township. I have been enrolled at this school for almost 2 years now. All of the staff are very helpful, and courteous. The staff are there to help students every step of the way. My past experiences with all of my past professors has been very pleasant. They have all been compassionate and helpful. This college have many resources and services that are available for every student. They offer tutoring for math, english, science, computers and accounting. I personally have taken advantage of the math tutoring and the results were amazing, A's and B's. All of the tutors are very compassionate and patient. Overall I have enjoyed my experience thus far and I am happy to be enrolled at this college.
