It is awful, the electrical teacher didn't know how to wire a relay, they quality of educating is horrific they charge around 7k a semester to not even have a cafeteria, its not a university so credits wont transfer, they are literally robbing you of your money. I transferred to Middle Georgia and its cheaper to live here then it was to commute 3 days a week to AIM. Don't go!
Its a predatory school towards veterans and GI bill students. They will flat out lie to your face about the quality of education and routinely cut corners to avoid any dispute with the FAA. Its about 20% hands on with very little time in the hanger actually touching aircraft. They prepare you horribly for FAA exams and their method preparing you is to teach you shortcuts instead of providing information to help you understand and pass. Run for the hills if you don't want to be left hanging on 50k in debt when they eventually get shut down by the FAA for failing an audit.
aviation institute of maintenance is all around a good school. it is a great start for your aviation career. it teaches you everything you need to know to get started. the campus and the classes aren't the most appealing, but it gets the job done. all around I would refer the school to others to further their career.
I like how organized the labs are. Teachers are involved and care about students goals. If there is one thing I would like to see changed it would be the application process. It tends to be confusing.
I am very happy with AIM. I was going to another college and it just seemed like the staff, professors or peers didn’t care if I succeeded or failed. AIM has taken the time to explain the process from financial aid, registration, to help in the classroom. The professors care and they work in the field so there’s no answer I don’t get. This is my career path now and I love it.
They say they will help you find work while in school but they won’t. They will help you with getting your certification they don’t . Then after yo graduated they for get about everything they promise except the loan that you owe ,and when you can’t find employment in the field you went for training and have to take a job at a third of what you were expecting it hard to pay all the bills .
I WOULD BE VERY VERY CAUTIOUS ABOUT GOING TO THIS SCHOOL THEY LIE EVER WORD OUT OF THEIR MOUTH IS A LIE ,IF YOU WANT TO THOW YOUR MONEY AWAY THEN FEEL FREE TO GO HERE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO TEACH ANYBODY OR TO ROOF A DOG HOUSE.

They say they do all. This stuf to help you get work they won’t the never do what they say

Teachers are very knowledgeable! Great course structure. If I had to change one thing it would be the attendance-deficiency policies.
At AIM we use Microsoft Teams platform to communicate and do online activities such as quizzes , PowerPoint, etc. It is efficient and easy to use!
I love my experience at my school. I wouldn't change it for anything. The teachers is great. The activity is helpful and I haven't felt so focus in my life
Because of the corona virus i took some of my classes online and i must say the lectures are doing a fantastic work teaching online. They explain everything to its simplest meaning for every student to understand.
i like this school because they give you the opportunity to excel in the aviation industry and also help you to find a job. They have a friendly environment for students to learn and also one of the best workshop you can think of.
Some of the teachers are the coolest people you'll ever meet. the lads portion of classes there are very fun. studying is very intense and well recommended. it keeps me on my feet and is preparing me for the field I want to be in.
From the moment I heard about what my school was about I loved it. It tapped into my childhood dreams of working with airplanes. All the teachers know what they're talking about and are passionate about their knowledge. You really get a good feel for the jobs you're going for from all the years of experience from everyone teaching there. I had a first block teacher that, in my opinion, was the best intro-teacher I could have possibly had there. I don't have any experience with aircrafts or engineering, but I went into this school thirsty to learn and my first teacher really built on that and gave me a great foundation to go on from.
This school is awesome the instructors care about you as long as you care about your self. This school provides you the opportunity to work in the field that you are currently going to school for.
This place is definitely different than the regular college scene. At AIM you are here to learn. It's intense but extremely interesting.
So far the school is OK. It has its ups and downs. The school and its teacher is great on the materials that we learning but the equipments can be updated
