I love Austin Community College. The staff is welcoming and helpful. There are various campuses in and around Austin. ACC is over all an amazing college that gives back to the community and their students.
I've had great professors at ACC, and have found many of the classes I've taken enriching and helpful, not only professionally, but also in my personal pursuit of knowledge. They also provide dozens of resources for students which is awesome.
I have not started classes yet, but so far I have had a really good experience. Admin has been very helpful and made this simple.
I love ACC. It has helped me get ahead in my education world and all the professors have been extremely helpful.
Best experience with college. Affordable. Convenient. Online access to everything is super easy and well organized. Registering is made simple by being able to plan it first in your online profile. Help desk always answers in a timely fashion. All the teachers I’ve had thus far have been great. I recommend ACC any day over a University if you know you only want a 2 year plan or want something cheap. Great school overall. They are there for you like they say they are!!
Austin community college online has been one of the best things that has happened to be, professors are on top go their game always there to answer any questions you may have and to communicate with you. They really make the online experience better than imagined.
The professors are very helpful and it's pretty easy to navigate online. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an easier online expereance
I like how easy Austin Community College is to navigate online, I haven't had any trouble yet. The professors have been super helpful as well.
Most professors did well with the online platform, however some definitely struggled more than others.
I've had a great overall experience with distance learning with Austin Community college. My many professors did very well in trying to adapt to an exclusively online setting. Also, all my professors were very helpful and communicated with me for help when I reached out. I highly recommend!
All of my classes are online however, I did use to take classes on campus and overall I have had a great time at this school.
I like that the professors are generally willing to work with you when it comes to meeting certain deadlines. However, something I dislike is the lack of political neutrality. There is a clear political bias when it comes to most of the learning material.
The platforms used for online learning seem fine overall. The professors seem to generally do their best with what they have. I did not enjoy taking my freshman year of college online, let alone with ACC, as this is far from my first-choice school.
Overall my experience with ACC has been an enjoyable one. I do full online for the year 2020-2021 and did not have any significant problems in regards to internet issues or teachers.
I am able to move at my own rate, allowing me to get weeks ahead on content. All my professors either have video lectures or powerpoints that do a great job of covering the topics to the point where I almost have no questions. Being online allows you to speed or slow things up to your liking, which is something that isn't always easy to do at campus.
ACC Online has really been a great experience. I feel much more in control of my schedule by being able to get ahead as far as I like within the class and, personally, I do much better when I am learning myself. The professors offer several methods of support if you need any, such as office hours in Google meet, by Zoom, phone, email, or GroupMe.
For a community college it is good. The online presence is excellent as long as you are a motivated student. The one problem is that it is an easy thing to ignore if you are in a completely lecture class that has no "in class" hours.
