It’s a very great place. The course work may seem like a lot at first but once you get the hang of it it’s pretty simple to manage.
Aultman college is second home for me. I love the staff and students that surround me every day. I currently work within the office of the school and have met so many amazing staff members. I also enjoy that our class sizes are small and the closer relationships we have with our professors! I would love to see more scholarships offered.
Aultman college has excellent job placement rates, I feel very confident that once I graduate, I will be able to get a job right away and will not struggle to find one.
I absolutely love it, it is a healthcare based school with high end technology and the professors are very high end health care professionals that are so intelligent and want you to succeed, the school is also small so you have more one on one professor time if you need help, there is a lot of tutoring opportunities and they always do some fun activity for the students.
Aultman college is an amazing college to attend because of how condensed class sizes are and the one-on-one help you receive. However, for a small college, the tuition is very expensive. Nonetheless, it is an amazing school to learn from.
The professors really want us to succeed. They are preparing us for the real world. Even though most of the academic classes are online at the moment, we are still getting a great education.
I highly encourage you to consider a different nursing program. The average cost per year to attend here is $21,000, after financial aid. The teachers are unprofessional and do not teach the students accurately. Only a minimum of the classes here are offered in person (even before covid). They do not care about you as a student. You are not getting what you paid for. On top of it all, compared to all the other nursing schools around this area, it is a lot harder. Once you start at Aultman college they have it set up so none of your credits can transfer to other colleges. So you go here and either start all over to pay them more money to suffer under disrespectful faculty.
The one semester I went to Aultman was terrible. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, it was the beginning of COVID, but they handled it terribly. Advising staff was super unhelpful. Half the professors who taught online didn’t even hold Zoom and you had to teach yourself. I’m not giving you my money to teach myself. My entire chemistry class was failing because of this and we told the school, they did nothing. Told a professor I was late on an assignment because I got a concussion from work, never responded to the email and failed the assignment. I had no choice but to drop out, this school ruined nursing for me and I decided to do a complete different major. Hopefully the new college I’m at will be way better. Save your money.
My first year was just like any other Freshman year off college. Not many credits transfer to Aultman from other schools which set me behind from the beginning. Summer classes became very difficult mainly because only part-time professors teach only summer semesters.
This college is way too expensive for the majority of the classes to be online. Academic advisors do not know what they are doing.
I enjoy the college but being in the last ASN program being offered, it makes it difficult when you know this is the last time certain classes are being offered and only one class offered in the semester so if you work, you have to go around their hours. Other than that I really enjoy the school and the people. I've met many new people and we are all there to help each other out.
I am proud to attend Aultman College. I am a recent transfer student and did not know what to expect upon admission. The learning environment is professional and the class work is rigorous; however, I feel like I have learned so much in the past semester than I have in the past couple of years as a student while attending another college. The learning environment is encouraging. If I am ever in need of help there is always someone willing to help whether they be a student or professor. I enjoy being a student there and I look forward to receiving my nursing degree from Aultman. I am confident that I will be well prepared to have a successful career as a registered nurse because of the values emphasized; health care and collaboration.
I am very pleased with Autlman. It is connected to the Hospital, so all clinicals are right there. The only thing I would change is the amount of classes they offer. It is a smaller school, there are not many times the classes are offered. So you have to rearrange you life to accommodate the time they offer.
