ASU isn't just a university; it's a gateway to a world of possibilities.
I was an online grad student so my experience will likely differ from a tradional on campus student, but overall I was not impressed with my time at ASU and ended up quitting the program. For starters, everything was group work and very little interaction or teaching from the actual professor (TAs did grading). Additionally, the work/project we were doing in the first class of the program was the exact same thing being done in the second class, they randomly made us buy another project pass course thing to do after starting the first one! So, I took it as there wasn't enough material in the program to justify having these first two classes. At the price point vs what you get out of it, I do not recommend for graduate school at least.
As a returning student with a full time career it was important to me that the university of choice was flexible with my schedule. I originally was at SMC where they offered many courses online during the pandemic but unfortunately shifted into primarily on site courses in 2022. Because of this shift it made it extremely difficult for working students like myself to get into any courses without compromising my work (aka what is paying for college). Determined to keep pursuing my dreams I researched and found that 99.9% of ASU's Biology curriculum was offered online. They made it super easy to transfer and accepted majority of my credits. Because they offer bigger classes, it was much easier to sign up for courses. Although the price is much higher than a community college, it was worth the it!
