Arizona State University Reviews
My overall experience with Arizona State University has been a journey. I am currently a senior going to ASU for my BFA in dance education. My major in particular has gone through a change in the degree progress which has made it difficult to adjust. The art's department of ASU is truly unique, but it could be much better. Depending on the type of major a student is going for they go through different experiences; especially if the student has to live on campus. Arizona State University is an amazing school and the support from staff is unbelievable! I've made so many connections and can't wait to graduate.
I honestly have never felt more of a connection to my teachers, peers, and academic advisors. I am constantly being encouraged to get involved and be an active member of the Sun Devil family. I would highly recommend ASU to anyone! The campus is so big, there is honestly something for everybody. You can be into sports, academics, the arts, anything, and still find your niche here at Arizona State University. However, if I could change anything, I would encourage ASU to be more efficient in their blue light system. Walking from Barrett to my dorm in San Pablo, I do not feel safe at night. The blue light system workers did not take the time to locate me or try and help me feel more safe.
I’m attending ASU online and i’m Loving it so far! It’s so simple to use and access and there are so many resources available that it feels as though i’m actually on the campus without leaving the comfort of my house. The only thing I would like to change about ASU online is that there isn’t a lot of walkthrough received on all the platforms used and there are many. If call someone to tell you how to find things what should be very simple takes days to navigate if you don’t have the time to spend an hour with someone for every platform, or remember to call, or in a different time zone and are busy during the hours they give you you’re out of luck. So I think I would add in more virtual walkthroughs to help understand layouts of the websites instead of the two that are currently implemented.
