The college has very engaging professors who care for their students education and for them to show their full potential. The clinical instructors are marvelous, who also go above and beyond to meet their students half way, who are extremely supportive, and aren’t afraid to pass down their knowledge. Every encounter I have had thus far has been rewarding, I feel very fortunate to have the support that everyone has given and to be able to move forward with a better understanding of nursing and what it entails. I greatly recommend this school to those who have either no medical knowledge of any kind, or to those who have experience, because they share their experiences and give it 110% without criticism or judgement. If I had to (and hopefully I don’t) I would do this again with the same people, because I feel the respect given and the support. One thing I would like to see change on is the handbook, we have had confusion on do’s and don’ts, and having a clear understanding is needed.
I've been in ACN for the past 8 months and have really enjoyed working with the teachers, especially the ones that are excited about the subject (Professor Ayala is AWESOME!). I had to put 1 star for some of the categories ONLY BECAUSE there's not athletics, party scene, campus food, etc. Good luck to all the future nurses!
I've yet to actually start classes there, but I have been given a tour of the campus and I have to say, I'm impressed. They have technologically advanced equipment that allows students to simulate real scenarios and get a feel for actually working. To top it off, the staff is enthusiastic about teaching and will do everything in their power to help you get what you need.
