Overall I like all my classes and my clinical experiences. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been able to practice many skills during our labs and clinicals.
I absolutely love my school! I have made great friends, the instructors are so wonderful, I love the resources they give as well.
Regional accreditation for this school DOES NOT exist. Due to the fact that UNLV and CSN will NOT accept credits from here, national accreditation is irrelevant if you fail your classes or want to transfer. They have a poor NCLEX exam passing rate. Attend a college with regional accreditation! Program disruption, staff and dean turnover. Save your money elsewhere!
The college is relatively new and the staff is very friendly. The technology that they use is very advanced compared to others when teaching nursing classes. They also have an accelerated program where you only need to study the nursing course for 3 years.
I am a new student and love the program thus far. Everyone has been very helpful and very open to answering any and all questions.
Working 8 AM - 5 PM makes going to college difficult, so I love how general classes are in the evening from 6 PM to either 8 or 9 PM (Depending on the class). Arizona College works with students if there are certain days that do not work for them. Although general classes are 8 weeks long, I like that there are only 2 classes at a time! There is a “hard” class and an “easy” class. This way, students do not have to worry about 2 difficult classes at a time. Since classes are only 8 weeks long, there are a lot of assignments! But as long as there is time management, getting an A and learning the material is possible! And I like how all general classes required to move on to core classes relate to what will be needed for core and in the nursing field! In my experience, professors make the class relatable by giving examples and insights as to how the class will help in the nursing field. And the professors have all been helpful.
The staff was very welcoming and helpful! Although it did take some time for them to get back to me, I still enjoy staying at this school. They could improve the timeframe they have to respond to student's needs.
I have not begun my online classes yet but so far everything has been extremely smooth. I have done online meetings with the financial aid counselor which was successful.
I have just been accepted into Arizona College of Nursing Las Vegas. Everything from transferring credits to the application process has been extremely stress free with the help of the great advisors at Arizona College- Las Vegas.
I have really enjoyed attending this college! Great faculty and an overall amazing program! The staff are passionate about what they do-- so it makes you feel like you matter and they are happy to teach you! The program is set up so you earn you Registered Nursing degree with a Bachelors and it is a fast program. It is hybrid (both online and campus), so it is a bit speedy but manageable. It is in a great location of Vegas and seems very safe. The class sizes are moderately small so you can really get to know your teachers and build a good connection. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who is looking to become a registered nurse with a BSN.
