Antioch University is a fabulous school which really takes care to accommodate it's students' individualized needs. With small classes and a friendly staff, each student is given significant attention in assisting them on their road to success. Additionally the school's commitment to social, environmental and economic justice is not only admirable, but is reflected in the teaching in the curriculum highlighting how we as future practitioners prevent exacerbating these issues as well as brainstorming potential solutions to them.
My experience at Antioch was wonderful and enriching. I feel like I was exposed to diverse perspectives, expanded my critical thinking and also learned more about social justice. I feel it prepared me to take on any leadership position and offer innovation.
In this first term, all my classes were online for the reason that the university was closed due to the COVID 19 situation. I have had experience in online classes. The teachers used a very easy to use platform. Where we could find the assignments to complete. Also our classes were by zoom and it is a very easy to use application. I sincerely liked taking my classes personally, but I like the online classes and in the same way the teachers and students showed respect and professionalism. The teachers were very punctual in the online classes. We communicated very easily on behalf of the university as well as with the tutors. Online classes also have its advantages, since my son is also taking his classes online and I can be supervising and helping him. So I also enjoyed the interaction in online classes.
