The students and professors are extremely kind and caring about everyone, it is obvious that everybody here on campus wants you to succeed. The only problem I have had is with the registrar office, as they are not very helpful and can be rude sometimes.
I am a freshman and we just started a couple of weeks ago, but I can already tell you that I love this school. Everyone I have met, whether they are a student, teacher, or faculty, has been extremely nice and understanding. The people of Anderson University have been nothing but accommodating and very flexible. I thought that I wouldn't like college life, but so far I absolutely love it. There are all kinds of events for students to go to, and there are tons of free resources for people to get help with.
I made many strong connections with my professors and my peers. I also felt very prepared for post-graduate work. However, improvements can be made in diversity and equality.
I love the community on campus, I have made a bunch of friends that I now consider family, I met the girl I plan on marrying. Not only that but campus life is a lot of fun, I've worked in RES life for a year and that has been a very rewarding experience. The classes are small so you get to know your professors which leads to better understanding of material, and easier to receive help when it is needed. I mean some areas of campus need remodeling and the food could be better. But overall I wouldn't want to go to school anywhere else.
Anderson University provides an intimate and caring atmosphere. Both faculty and students are genuinely connected and consistently aim to make the university an engaging and enlightening place. The small size of the school is perfect for students who want to be involved in the community.
The only place where AU can improve is in their online communication. I found that staying in touch and following up with questions can be difficult.

The College experience is amazing, everyone's so nice and generous, the teaching isn't bad either, though it mostly depends on the teacher.
Doesn't really feel like the college experience. After classes there is not a lot to do besides go back to your room. walking around campus is depressing and sometimes makes me want to withdraw.
I will be in my second semester of the nursing program this fall and this scholarship
will help me pay for my tuition and fees this semester.

Most of my experience has been very positive. Overall, this is a great place to further education. There are alot of opportunities available for all types of people. They do a great job at offering many activities to participate in.
This is an extremely welcome place. All of my professors have made it a priority to see that I have all of my academic needs seen to. I have been included socially and academically by students without having to ask. There are lots of academic resources, and no shortage of fun and school approved social events.
I learned most of what I came to AU to learn and then some! I had a great experience here, professors are more than willing to work with their students no matter the circumstances. Classes were not really that big compared to a school like Purdue or Indiana University. If you are looking for a small school feel at a decent sized school, Anderson University is the way to go!
The Science Department is amazing and the took me in after the nursing department treated me so horribly and discriminated against me. Besides that department, AU is a cloud of despair and misery that will suck the very life and soul out of you. The administration is so disconnected from the student body that they have become an enemy to student's success. I often wonder how my college experience could have been so much better else where.... I find it extremely hard to encourage anyone to come to my school and often tell them to not come here. I am in too deep now that I can't transfer out.
Anderson University is a well rounded and balanced school. This university has been a pleasure to attend.
I think the campus is a home away from home feel to it and all the students are friendly. I haven’t found anything I would change about it yet.
Beautiful campus, engaging and fun professors, great community! I visited the campus 4 times before attending. However, I knew from the first summer dance intensive that this was the college for me.
ANDERSON UNIVERSITY HAS A GREAT COLLEGE COMMUNITY! I HAVE ENJOYED PLAYING SPORTS AT THE UNIVERSITY. THAT IS WHERE I HAVE MET MOST OF MY COMMUNITY OF FRIENDS. ANDERSON HAS ALWASY FELT LIKE HOME EVER SINCE I STEPPED FOOT ON CAMPUS. THE FACILITIES ARE NICE. I ENJOYED LIVING ON CAMPUS AND MEETING SO MANY NEW PEOPLE. I LOVE THE PROFESSORS. THEY ALL TRULY CARE ABOUT THEIR STUDENTS. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET BE IN SMALL CLASSS ENVIRONMENTS WHICH I STRONGLY ENJOY. I FEEL LIKE EVEN THOUGH IT IS EXPENSIVE, IT IS WORTH THE INVESTMENT. I LOVE ALL OF THE CAMPUS EVENTS PROVIDED. I HAVE ALSO ENJOYED THE CHRISTIAN EDUCATION WE RECEIVE. WE GET A WELL ROUNDED LIBERAL ARTS DEGREE THAT COMPANIES SEEM TO VALUE ALOT. I FEEL SAFE ON CAMPUS, BUT DO NOT ENJOY THE LOCALS THAT SOMETIMES MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE FOR STUDENTS TO ENJOY THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. THE FOOD SERVICES ARE VERY AVERAGE. I LOVE THAT THERE IS CHICK FILA ON CAMPUS THOUGH. ALL TOGETHER, I LOVE ANDERSON. I HAVE HAD A GREAT COLLEGE EXPERIENCE.........
This is a great school! The professors truly care about your success and will go out of their way to ensure you're doing okay both in and outside of class. Campus is small, but that just makes it way easier to navigate. The biggest thing I'd like to see improve is the on-campus food. We have Chick-fil-A, and that's what I end up eating most of the time because our actual cafeteria isn't the best. Overall, though, this is really a great school and would highly recommend if you're looking to create personal relationships with people and your professors.
