Review Alexandria Technical & Community College
Alexandria Technical College has amazing staff who have so much knowledge and passion for their field and their students. My only 2 wishes that were different were more parking and cheaper housing options near or on campus!
For what is known as a first year student at Alex Tech every student who graduates from the Interior Design program will leave having an internship at their choice of workplace and a degree which is known through many companies. Other networking which goes on through Alex Tech is through associations which deal with the Interior Design industry and have great opportunities for students!
I loved taking online courses! I was able to take both of my Accounting Principle courses online at the same time so I could easily continue to work at the same time and complete the coursework on my schedule. The deadlines for tests and homework were easy to meet. The D2L system offered a simple way to log on and follow the curriculum schedule so that the material made sense and I was ready for the tests when they came around. The instructors used a variety of lecture techniques (interactive Soft Chalk, video, and integrating Excel) to make it similar to how it would feel in a classroom setting. I also enjoyed using the discussion boards to ask for help from other students and the instructor.
