Alderson Broaddus is an amazing school the professors try their best to work with you and give you a great education. All the staff are sweet and kind, there isn’t one staff member that doesn’t say hi or good morning. It is a small campus so learning your way around the college isn’t hard at all. They have a variety of majors you can choose from. The financial aid office is willing to help you find scholarships and grants so you don’t feel like you can’t afford to go, and the business office helps you make your bill as low as possible. Overall the campus is friendly and I recommend it for anyone who likes small schools.
I like that the school is in a place where it is far away from the city in that case it is tough to stay focused on both school and athletics. At times it could be tough as it could be boring as there is nothing else to do for fun. I would like to see more involvement from the school to have fun with the students rather than pushing them to the side. I would want to see more opportunities for the students in athletics as there is a lack of winning culture at the school and a lot of the people that attend the school are either international or come from states at a further distance to compete but due to to the lack of winning culture it is just brushed away as if it does not matter. I like that the school has good professors.
AB has given me a new look on life. They gave me a chance and it has changed my whole life. I’m going to be playing football which is something I love. The coaches are always there when I need them, the whole staff has been absolutely wonderful. Definitely a small town school offering big time potential.
