Beautiful campus, friendly faculty members, supportive professors and amazing classmates from all over the world. In Adelphi, we make this place as an international community, everyone is part of this big family. Studying here is the best choice I have ever made in my life and this experience has completely changed my life from so many perspectives, I am glad and proud that I become an alumni from Adelphi. Academically, professors have rich clinical experiences and conducting several research which could facilitate you with basic knowledge of research design and later on being helpful if you are planning for PhD degree or becoming a clinical workers. Environmentally, it’s a safe and friendly campus with so many goodness, students are encouraged to participate in different activities and events. Lastly, our great career center plays a key role from student’s perspective, internship, resume, interview skills etc. Adelphi can help you to achieve your career success, join us!
Life at Adelphi can be a movie if you want it to be. I have transformed my life since I came here. I’m an international student from lebanon and I made sure to get involved the second I stepped on campus. I have juggled between leadership positions, multiple part time jobs, being a Resident Assistant RA, and winning many awards both at Adelphi and nationally. You can reach your dream at Adelphi!
Coming into college, I was very nervous and anxious about being a commuter for the first time and entering a brand-new environment. I have been at Adelphi for a year and a couple of months and I cannot stress enough how wonderful and friendly everyone has been. There are some fantastic mentorship programs like Commuter Assistants and Peer Assistant Leaders who help freshmen become acclimated to the campus as well as answer any questions students may have. The tours I went to as a freshman were so engaging and informational. Professors and staff in general have been nothing but generous in any given situation. The student body in general is very welcoming and homely. There are also many opportunities that Adelphi offers like volunteer and community service work, various fun events like Broadway shows, or being able to hear speakers. I believe that everyone has a place here at Adelphi and anyone should consider applying if they want a welcoming and united campus.
