ABAC is an amazing place to meet new people and get great new experiences. We often catch ourselves saying "Nowhere else in the world would this happen than here at ABAC". If you have a horse, there is on-campus boarding that is within walking distance from the dorms and any random Tuesday night can be turned into a rodeo. What other college can that happen at? And the students here are so nice and helpful. Truly an amazing experience that you just have to see for yourself!
This college is perfect for anyone who is seeking a small, comfy, and affordable college in Georgia. Always close to home for in-state students, an excellent foreign-exchange student program, plenty of scholarship opportunities (both sport and non-sports related), and always welcoming to new students. Whether you enroll for a full 4-year track, or planning on transferring later, ABAC is one of the best schools found in Georgia. I have found many wonderful opportunities while enrolled and a large community of good people involved not just with agriculture, but with a wide assortment of other majors. ABAC's diversity within the student population is represented to the greatest degree by the clubs and organizations, such as FFA, AET Club, Pre-Vet club, and even the Baptist Collegiate Ministries. These barely scratch the surface of the clubs ABAC has. For anyone searching for a small college, keep ABAC in your list, because it is the best step in college you will ever make.
ABAC (Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College) has been a welcoming environment to be at. I suggest new student to stay in the dorm to get an insightful view of the campus. Staying in the dorm helped me gain lifelong friendships. This college has helped me grow internally; the staff are helpful academically. This college has taught me so many things such as the importance of having an education. Coming from a low-income family and as first-generation student, I have an enormous amount of weights over my shoulders, feeling like burden. At times, I get myself overwhelmed financially. It saddens me, but God is with me. Although this school is fabulous, it did not have the major I desire, so I had to transfer to a more expensive college. Not sure, if I took the right step. All the time and detailed assistant I put towards my studies, it ended me off my first year of college with a 3.8 GPA can help me lead to opportunities, such as scholarships.
