John Jay has been a wonderful environment for me as a criminology student. The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, always encouraging critical thinking and fostering a sense of community.
It’s nickname is “Hard Work U” because all students work 15 hours a week and two 40 hour work weeks a year, which provides the opportunity to graduate DEBT FREE, as donors who support the mission of the college cover the additional cost of tuition.
It’s also so easy and fun to get involved in clubs, events, and on-campus jobs.
Majoring in Business Administration/Finance, I’ve found UB’s strong academic focus and dedication to individual success to be a major driving force in my educational journey.
