I Found My Niche at Whitman College
Student Name: Shola
School: Whitman College
Major: Environmental Studies, Art
Hi! I’m Shola and I am an environmental studies and art major going into my senior year at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA!!
I really like Whitman and Walla Walla, it’s a super cute town and even though it’s kinda rural there’s still a lot to do both downtown and on campus. The school is small so there’s practically no anonymity. You know everyone and everyone knows you, so that’s something to prepare for if you went to a big high school. A perk of it being small is that it’s easy to get to know the professors, and most of them are super nice and willing to help you in whatever way they can 🙂
I’m in a sorority which is a lot of fun, and something I really like about Whitman is that Greek life here is super chill and low-stakes in a way it might not be at a lot of other schools. Overall, Whitman is a neat lil place and I’m glad I chose it!
